WALNUT CREEK, Calif., May 8, 2025 – CSAA Insurance Group is proud to announce that Jachyn Davis, vice president of Corporate Compliance, Privacy and Employment, has been named among the Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business by the San Francisco Business Journal. The award recognizes outstanding Bay Area women leaders, representing public and private companies, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations and government entities.
"Jachyn Davis is a remarkable leader whose strategic vision and dedication have been instrumental in shaping CSAA Insurance Group's compliance, privacy, and employment practices," said Katie Evans, executive vice president and chief legal officer of CSAA Insurance Group. "Her ability to navigate complex issues and her commitment to our customers and community are truly inspiring. We are thrilled to see her recognized for her outstanding contributions."
As vice president of Corporate Compliance, Privacy and Employment, Jachyn leads the overall strategic direction and performance of Corporate Compliance, providing regular reports to senior leadership and CSAA's Board of Directors on the status of the program and any significant compliance issues. Similarly, in the areas of Privacy and Employment, Jachyn – in close partnership with the Chief Legal Officer – manages and advises on implementing strategies related to significant enterprise matters impacting data governance, incident response and Human Resources investigations.
Since joining CSAA in 2018, Jachyn has passed the industry exam to become a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional and has championed these disciplines within the company. Through internal presentations and by empowering her team to design and launch compliance-related events and surveys, she has led and modeled positive change. Under her leadership, the Privacy Incident Response Team has become a valued resource for the company, demonstrating her expertise in managing complex, cross-functional situations.
Jachyn's commitment to the community is equally impressive. Currently, Jachyn serves on the board of the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce, furthering her dedication to fostering economic growth and community engagement.
She also serves on the executive committee of the Labor and Employment Section of the California Lawyers Association. Jachyn is a past board member of Girls Inc. of Alameda County, where she oversaw the implementation of the nonprofit's strategic plan.
In recognition of her leadership and contributions, Jachyn has been named an "Emerging Leader" by the American Property Casualty Insurance Association and the Insurance Careers Movement.
"It is an honor to be recognized among such a talented group of business leaders," said Davis. "I am deeply thankful for this recognition and view it as a testament to the teamwork and success we've achieved for AAA Members, thanks to the dedication of everyone at CSAA."
